Website Refresh for KES Electrical

One of our long-standing clients came to us recently asking if we could update his website design as it hadn’t been refreshed for a while.
Kevin’s website was looking a bit outdated and wasn’t bringing in enough visitors to get his phone ringing, so we updated the template to a modern, up to date theme reflecting the electrical trade.
We also transferred the website to the new, faster and more secure server we use for our website hosting during the upgrade process. This server is very powerful and websites stored on it load very quickly, which is a huge benefit to site visitors. Visitors want to see instant results and will quickly click away if pages and information are slow to load.
As part of the job, we carried out the following tasks, all of which will contribute to increasing the visibility of KES Electrical.

Content Delivery Network (CDN)

We activated a Content Delivery Network on the website. A content delivery network, or CDN, is a network of servers in various data centres around the world with the goal of improving the security and performance of websites for their visitors. It can also help protect websites against hackers.

Website Checker

Another task we completed was to run the website through a website checker. This analyses and reviews four main aspects of a website to see how well equipped it is for online success:
Search engine accessibility
The Website Checker gives a score on each aspect and suggests tips on how each score can be improved. This is a really useful tool to help increase online visibility.

GDPR Compliancy

The final task was to make sure that the website had an SSL Certificate and an up to date privacy policy attached.
All the tasks we completed, along with refreshing the look of the website, will help to attract more visitors to the site and, ultimately, increase Kevin’s income. After all, the whole point of a website is to attract customers!
